I am a writer living in Naarm/Melbourne.

My first novel, The Fogging, was published in 2020, and my second, Time Together, was published March 2025. Both were published by Scribe Publications to critical acclaim. I teach creative writing and editing at RMIT and Faber Writing Academy. My work has been published in various publications, including Meanjin, The Guardian and The Saturday Paper. My novella The Peacock was shortlisted for the 2017 Viva La Novella prize. My novel The Fogging was highly commended for the 2019 Victorian Premier’s Award for an Unpublished Manuscript.

I write criticism, judge prizes and run workshops; I am the former editor of The Lifted Brow Review of Books, and former assistant editor at Australian Book Review; and I am a member of Love of Diagrams.

I am represented by Grace Heifetz at A4 Literary. For publicity and events, contact Scribe.

I live and work on the stolen land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nations, and pay my respects to their elders past and present. I acknowledge their unceded sovereignty, and thank them for their continued hospitality.
